North Hills is a great movie theater, and I myself am a teen who goes there often. All I really see is people complaining about the teens there, but it's not like adults don't have their faults while attending movies as well. Concessions are just as pricey as the next theater, except for the dollar fifty movie of course, ticket purchase is quick, theaters are clean, as well as bathrooms. The places surrounding the theater are just as fine too, Five Guys, Chick-Fil-A, Target, etc. It's the perfect place for dates and even family outings. 5 stars for sure.

North Hills Management Company should instate curfew hours for teens as many larger city malls/theaters do successfully. Business owners could then run their businesses effectively instead of babysitting or playing watchdog unnecessarily. Let parents 'parent' their teens that don't need to be out late finding/causing trouble... Curfews work.

Employees are rude - apparently haven't been trained. Attendants of handicapped persons are supposed to get free ticket. I took someone using a wheelchair, who hadn't been to a movie in three years. The idiot at the ticket booth said only attendants "in uniform" receive free ticket. Had to call a manager, who called someone else who looked up their policy on their web site and finally gave us the ticket. It ruined the whole experience for my friend. And the refreshments are WAY TOO EXPENSIVE. Never again.

I stopped working there less than a month ago. First of all, the large drink does get free refills. And it is huge. We don't make the prices, which I'm sure you know, and we also don't like selling these overpriced items to you. Second, we do theater checks but we can't catch everyone and if there is a problem, come tell us. Don't wait until your movie is over and ask for a refund. When loud teenagers or rude cell phone users are pointed out to us, we do our best to help. I've seen many people kicked out for not being courteous to others. Third, the showtimes are only advertised on Fandango. I didn't even know this before I worked here, so it's understandable that not everyone knows. That's why we tell you when you come in. So call and double check. We can't help it if the times are incorrect and we don't put the times on other websites; they pull those times from anywhere. It's impossible to make them change it, so we're not to blame. And as for the box office complainer, maybe you came at a busy showtime but the managers get chewed out if they schedule more people than needed. So during the weekdays it's normal for only one person to be in box, especially if you're only going to do about 250 people in a 5 hour shift. We can't make more drawers to sell tickets if no one's scheduled to work. Just like at ANY theater, if you come during a busy showtime, you might have to wait in lines. Don't think that we like making our customers wait. The faster you get through our lines the faster we can clean up and stock. As for the 3-D glasses, we don't charge for those. We charge for the 3-D movie. It's an entirely different set-up with different lenses. I worked here for a year and while I didn't particularly love it, I thought I'd shed some light and defend it a little.

Twice have been to this theatre and the movie times were not as advertised online. The 1st time our entire bookclub (5 of us) met for a Sunday matinee showing of The Help, a book we had read for bookclub. It was advertised online on 2 websites to start at 1230. We were told the first showing wasnt until 2pm and that they just started changing the movie times on Sundays. We could not hang around an hour and a half so we went to the Carmike 15, where it WAS playing when advertised. The second time (shame on me) the movie Mirror, Mirror that was advertised to begin at 615 was not playing there at all! The woman at the ticket booth said that Regal North Hills only advertises online with Fandango, as if somehow this was my fault for not knowing that. I went to Six Forks Cinema and caught my movie there. That was the LAST time I will go to a movie there. If they cannot put their movies online with movietimes. coand other online sites I won't go there again. Other cons, you have to wade through gloms of teenagers hanging out in front of the place, parents in front of theatre blocking traffic to pick up their kids and parking is a nightmare. I am done with Regal North Hills.

Quiet movie experience after 8? You musta meant 8am? North Hills is a great place to go as long as its before 7pm. After that the teens that attend this movie complex take over and by 10pm thats mostly who is there. They are not supervised, rude, pushy, talk n text during movies, etc. Ive even been threatened when I asked one to per away their phone during a movie. Management needs to do a better job of policing the teens. At least they could tell them to put away their phones and actually look into in once in awhile. Ya cant miss the glow lighting up 3 seats in any direction. I will not attend anymore movies at North Hills due to the constant problem of out of control, obnoxious, disrespectful teenagers and lack of management to improve it.

The HOURS of the movie theater are a mystery. Why?!

The prices are outrageous, starting with the charging of the 3-d-glasses.

Yall complaining about the 3D price but little do you know its not the theater who come up with that additional 3.50 i work at the movie theater in durham and that is a set price that is set by the company for ALL 3D MOVIES.... and yes the glasses are asked to be recycled but you are allowed to keep them so you cant fault the theater for that

We love Regal North Hills 14! If you are over 18 and want to have a nice quiet movie experience go see a movie that starts after 8:00. It is less likely to have as many teens attending. The teens are out of control especially at the neighboring Chick-fil-A but Firebirds is a nice restaurant to go to before a 9 o'clock movie. Also if you love to see movies make sure you sign up and get a regal crown club card. You will rack up so many points when you see a movie on its debut weekend and when you buy concessions. Also every monday is $1 candy and every tuesday is $1 popcorn with the card. I have gotten free movie tickets, free drinks and free popcorn using my card and it is free to sign up to get one. If you are a college student try to pick a week night to see a movie because you can use your student discount which does not work on Friday or Saturday nights.

WOW!!!! you one star raters are out the roof. . management cant do alot about the teens and you cant change the teenagers or the parents. your only going to see them once for maybe 5 minutes to 2 hours. besides thats not what the theater is about. they are about good service....which they have, good movie quality.....which they have, and nice willing hardworking staff.....again which they have. so if you dont want to go back thats fine, they get enough business anyway. but i tell you i will continue to go there as long as i live here
