We've been coming here for many years and always enjoyed it. Kids always have a great time, always want to come back, and like I said, we have always enjoyed this place! Nowhere else can I take my son and his friends to a movie for under $15.00 w/popcorn either! Other Theaters demand $55.00 for same, but I wouldn't pay it. We'd stay home and play Monopoly before I coughed up that much of my work week for a movie and handful of corn...

...Like I said...Best popcorn too ! :-) !

while i love paying 2bucks for a movie...lets be honest the place has a bad smell...I think its the carpet..

when it first opened it was one of the nicer theaters in the area they took pride on keeping it looking nice...now its basically a place where lazy parents drop off their badass kids...theyre running around everywhere..these are likely that drop their kids off at a birthday party WITHOUT A GIFT..

also taste your popcorn before you leave the concession stand..chances are its stale

I like it, because you get to see movies that you weren't able to see earlier at a cheaper price.

Living on a Budget....Carmike theater is GREAT!!!!!!...we use the coin jar to treat the grandchildren and they LOVE IT!!!!!!..my husband & I love love love it..they think we spent alot of money on them...love Carmike!!!!!...Great 4 Family!!! (G4F all Day)....:):):)

blueridge is the best place to go when you're on a budget.The movies there only cost $1.50 and you can't beat that.I try to go on a Tuesday because that's when you can get a small popcorn and small drink for only $2.00 each.If you're reading this come try blueridge out cause you never know it might be the right place for you.

Alright so check it!!! A total overview for Blue Ridge. Older theater maintained well. Features $1.50 movies allday anyday. If you don't mind waiting for a movie but still want to see it on the "big screen" this is your spot! I'm sure you've read about the $1.00 drinks and popcorns on Tuesdays vs. $6.50 for a large at other theaters. If you're kids wanting to get into an R rated movie they never check id (at least now when i've been theree). No stadium seating but if you go at the right time there arn't any people there. Never had problems with staff, I don't think the sound quality is as good as others but if your over 35 don't even worry about it. I would refrain from taking small children Friday and Saturday nights (that's when the zombies start walking around). It's funner to sneek in candy and secerity isn't tight so you could probably go see as many as you would like (I'm not responsible for your choices). In all a nice, cheap but quaint little movie house that's between Blockbuster and IMAX. Enjoy if you have the time go see as many as you can.... L8r G8rs ;p
