Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close Movie Reviews

I think this film was great and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. There are many themes in this film but the main one seems to be about how one deals with loss. I think that the film is very powerful emotionally and in the same time it is not overly sentimental. I think this film will be either liked or hated because of the subject selected, I myself really enjoyed this film and think that the director did a great job with balancing this film. I think it was smart to pick a child to play the main character and I think that Thomas Horn did a really good job with the role. Sandra Bullock plays the mother who is not always likable and she does a great job with it. Tom Hanks does a great job as well and I can not imagine anyone playing his character better. Overall, I liked this film and I think it is worth seeing in the theaters.
This is a drama about a young boy who searches New York City for the lock that matches a mysterious key left behind by his father, the film is directed by Stephen Daldry and stars Thomas Horn, Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock. I thought this film was alright but i do not recommend seeing it in the theaters, I do not think it is worth the price of the movie ticket. There are many scenes in this film that work beautifully ad there is something very sweet about this film but there are also many flaws that I could not ignore. I could see that the filmmakers were trying to manipulate emotions and the film instantly became insincere. I also was not crazy about the kid, he was kind of irritating and I know a lot of people will hate me for this comment but I am just expressing my opinion. I also do not understand why this film was released on Christmas, it is so sad and I think we have enough of sadness and despair already.
