This was an amazing doc**entary and I highly recommend seeing it in the theaters. I honestly did not know much about this amazing man Ai Weiwei and I am so happy my friend took me to see this film because I learned about him and his great work. This film is very intersting and the story is engaging and I love that it continues and who knows where it will end up. Ai is such a charismatic person that he makes this film what it is all by himself. I urge you to see this film and tell your friends about it. -
I was very excited about this film because I admire Ai Weiwei and I was a bit disappointed because an artist like him deserves a bigger and better film. Director Alison Klayman has a fascinating subject for her first feature and it helps her film a lot but in my opinion the film was way too brisk and underdeveloped. However, the film has some great and compelling moments that are even funny and it even made me laugh. Overall, if you are not familiar with this wonderful Chinese artist you should definitely see this film.
